Jones grandchildren X 4

Jones grandkids in the playhouse.
Ela, Addy, and Gabe enjoy a cookie on the "kids" table. So funny to think their is a kids table as sometimes I feel like I was just a part of the kids table at family get-togethers.

Gabe and Noah enjoy the play gym together. These 2 brothers really enjoy each other already.

Grandpa and Grandma and 4 grandchildren!

The Jones family and the Bjork family.

The Bjorks arrived from Virginia to visit on Friday and clean up a few loose ends before they move here on June 19th for good! Gabriel loved playing with his 2 cousins while the grown-ups + Noah enjoyed the nice weather outside on the deck. Those 3 played and played, even little Addyson. It was so nice to see them together having so much fun.
We were also able to swim together on Saturday morning (Gabe only had 2 near drowing experiences) and enjoy the park at our church.
Gabe continues to love to be a big brother and help Noah as much as he can. I can tell he is having a somewhat difficult time adjusting to all the new stimulation going on here as he has tried telling us "no" often or just outright ignores our parental requests. But honestly, that is the worst of it.
We are off to church tonight and my Mom comes tomorrow! Yay! Can't wait for her to meet Noah and spend some time together!

Crying Noah

This is our son! We are so blessed!

Noah Bryan

Our newest addition finally has a name: Noah Bryan Jones. Noah because we love the name, and Bryan after Kate's Dad. Noah also means rest, peaceful so we were hoping to instill that into him.

So far this has not been the case. We requested from God a baby that is healthy and eats. Our prayers were answered and we have just that. One that eats at least every 2 hours. He is just a hungry boy!

We came home early one from the hospital on Wednesday night (scheduled to go home Thursday morning) but since all were doing well we had the option to come home. With Gabriel's schedule it was easier to just come home. Gabe loves him and loves to help with his care too as much as he can. He is having a hard time "sharing" Mommy and Daddy's time as this morning he had a fit about Mommy not being able to read him a book right now as she was feeding Noah. He went to daycare today and will continue to go 2x/week as he thrives there.
Daddy continues to be super Dad and balances it all so Mommy can recover from surgery.
We were blessed to have Grandma & Grandpa Jones here Sunday-Tuesday & thet doted on Gabe & met Noah. The Bjork family comes in from Virginia Thursday night for the weekend to see Noah and finalize a few things before their big move to Iowa next month. Kate's Mom comes this weekend to help for the week & Papa and the Tenley's come Memorial day weekend.
Thank you to everyone for their thoughts and prayers in our joy. Prayers for Kate's Grandpa as he is reaching the final stages of Alzheimer's & has hospice care now

same kid, 2 1/2 years later

Baby Brother
Gabriel at same age.

I think we had the same baby as we had 2 1/2 years ago. They look almost exactly alike! Maybe we don't have to chose a name - just Gabriel #2

Welcome Baby Brother

All cute.
Grandma and Grandpa with their grandsons

Big Brother and Little Brother

Right after delivery.
We welcomed baby Jones #2 to the world Monday, May 17th at 10:43am. 6lbs 11oz and 20 1/2" long. He gave a great cry and relieved worried parents. I have been feeling better with this c-section than the last so almost everything has been better.
Big brother came up to see him and was thrilled, wanted to hold him and also tell us what to do with him too.
We are narrowing down names so stay tuned. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. God is great and we are so blessed as a family.

Spring Fun

Our little blue eyes
38 weeks pregnant with big brother Gabriel.

A family of 3 will become a family of 4.

Pregnant Amanda and big sister Lilly, with Pregnant Kate and Big Brother Gabe.
Gabe and Lilly are just 20 days apart in age and these babies inside the belly will be just 10 days apart.

Gabe and Lilly before Sesame Street live.

Gabe continues to grow and so does Kate with baby brother. As I write this there is only 49 hours left of a family of 3 for the Jones'. The c-section is 10:30 on Monday. Yikes. Can't believe that! We will clean up the house as we know that won't happen for a few weeks. Ha.
Stay tuned.

Tractor

Gabriel received a very special gift this weekend from Nana and Papa, his own tractor. Papa has one like this and Gabe loves it. Nana found a good deal, so Gabe benefits. He loves to drive it all the time!

Nana and Papa were here all weekend and it was so refreshing. No big plans occured other than being together and laughing. We went out to eat, went shopping, took Gabe to a "big brother class," and enjoyed church.

Countdown for little brother is here. 2 weeks from today. I am in full nesting mode as Sunday we swept, mopped, cleaned some windows, filled in the garden with new dirt, laundry, dusted, steam cleaned the Jeep, vacuumed, and I am sure other things. We also purchased the baby's diapers and last minute things. Now all we need is our crib, as we had to order a new one on Friday as Gabe's was recalled. Well, we still need our baby too :o)

Oh, Gabe saw his ENT on Friday for a check up and it was suggested that he have ear tubes again as the 1st set has now fallen out. We are not too sure as we have gotten mixed information from other doctors and medical professionals so we will get another opinion before going ahead with the surgery. Prayers for that please!
